Technospawn is a sound expansion with 172 new sounds for u-he Repro and is aimed for edgy and dark techno, with inspiration taken from modern genres as well as old school techno, with a focus on raw energy and creating dark menacing atmospheres.

The focus of the soundset is mainly set on bass and synth sounds, but also comes with a lot of hard drum & percussion sounds, effects and paranoid soundscapes.

The soundset has presets for both the polyphonic Repro-5 and the monophonic Repro-1. The presets for Repro-1 have a bigger focus on sequences, specifically aimed to inspire creation of ideas. Sonically, the presets for Repro-1 has a different character as we worked more with the edgy waveshaper to create more FM type of sounds. Harder but also more quirky. If the presets for Repro-5 can be regarded as bread & butter sounds for deep hard techno, the sounds for Repro-1 is an unorthodox mix of acid techno and ambient electronica.

The presets also comes with audio samples of the sounds, both as dry and with the original effects from Repro. These samples are great if you want to use the sounds in your Elektron or Polyend hardware samplers (or any hardware or software samplers too for that matter).

All sounds are properly tagged making finding sounds easy (both in Repro as well as in Native Instruments Maschine and Komplete Kontrol). The soundset also supports audio previews for Maschine and Komplete Kontrol.
