Microns is a soundset for Arturia Pigments based on the classic MicroQ synthesizer by the masters of wavetable synthesis: Waldorf. The soundset is focused on electronic sounds aimed specifically for digital electronica inspired by music and sounds from the late 90s and early 2000s.

With Microns we put most of the attention to pads, leads and synth sounds. While the majority of the samples were taken from the MicroQ were recorded dry, we also recorded the MQ by pushing its effects to the limit, especially its wonderfully lofi reverb and the rebellious “Five FX” multi effect with overdrive and bitcrusher.
