Named after Emilio Largo - also known as Number Two in the criminal organisation SPECTRE - the Waldorf Largo is equipped with some of the most gorgeous oscillators and filters on the market. While its wavetable oscillators are great for organic evolving sounds such as atmospheres, the analogue oscillators are as raw and tasty as any real analogue synthesizer. This makes Largo a truly outstanding synthesizer for bass sounds.

This collection of 128 bass sounds does not contain any reproductions of classic analogue sounds. No AnaBass 19, Moog bass or Lucky Leads. The focus lies entirely on sounds for modern dance music spanning from minimal styles, electro, techno to stuff you can use to scare away cows with.

Although Largo ships with many excellent presets, it lacks a lot in the bass department. Large Bass Expander hardcharges your Largo for tunes where the bass is as important as the drums.


AUDIO EXAMPLES
There are no treatment on the bass sounds except a compressor with very weak settings and a limiter on the master buss. No effects or eq:ing have been applied to the bass sounds.
