In this video I create a totally new sound by tweaking the parameters of an existing preset. Limited, yes. But still very capable, especially when digging deeper into the equalizer, compressor and lfos.
In this tutorial I show you how you can assemble your own personalized drum kits, with minimum of effort. While the technique isn't revolutionary in any way, it's a quick way of creating drum kits with drums that work well with each other. The only requirement is that they contain some kind of musical loops, such as bass, synth or pad loops.

The Sonalksis TBK3 is a compressor capable of such overcompression that it just doesn't jump out on your face, but grabs you by the neck and forces you to stare into your monitor with both amazement and fear. Although the TBK3 can be used on all kinds of material, it's a superior tool for bringing out the evilness in any drums.
