Soundshop FAQ
These sounds are cheap! What's the catch?
There is no catch. The sounds are 100% original and have all been designed by hand, and is not the result of a couple hours mindless randomizing. The prices are inspired by the low pricing of the iPhone appshop. The only downside is that I'm not bothering with rendering fake boxshots in 3D Studio Max - or creating pointless PDF documentation. These collections contains sounds - and minimal with fluff-fluff.

Are there any restrictions when using these sounds?
You can freely use these sounds for commercial or private purposes in music, jingles, movies or television, without paying further fees than the original price of the product. The only restriction is that you must not use the sounds in an isolated manner - they must always be used in a musical context. You are for example not allowed to create a sample library based on the sounds you purchase from Plughugger.
What am I actually buying when I buy sounds from Plughugger?
You are buying the right to use these sounds - not the sounds themselves. The sounds are under the copyright of Plughugger/Carl Löfgren. No one else has the ownership of the sounds. You are buying a license to use these sounds in any musical way you want. If you create a multi million dollar smash hit built on a Plughugger bass sound - congratulations. The money is all yours. All you need to have is a licence for using the sounds. That's what you buy when you purchase sounds from Plughugger.
Please note that a license is only valid for the user/organisation who purchase the license from Plughugger. This means that even though you might give away or sell these sounds, you are still the holder of the license. Not the new user of the sounds. This is also a reason why the prices of the soundsets are low - anyone should be able to get a soundset without inflcting any damage on their economy.

How are the sounds delivered?
After the purchase you will be emailed a link where you can download your product (provided you supply us with a fully working email address). This link usually expires after 24 hours, so it's a good idea to make a backup copy of the product. If the link doesn't work or you don't receive a link - please let me know. The whole system for delivery is automatic and although it works fine, we all know what happens every now and then with automatic systems.
When will my purchase be delivered?
Usually the delivery is very quick, and you can expect a link for downloading your product within minutes. But as with all automated systems - things can get delayed or even go wrong.
Patience is not a virtue of the internet era, but please leave up to 48 hours before contacting me. If anything goes wrong - don't worry about it. I will sort it out. I am not in the business to rip people off. In that case I would charge way more than I do.
Have you checked your spam folder? The link might just have sneaked in there.
What is this? There are no samples! How can I load these FXB/FXP files into my sampler?
Congratulations. You have successfully avoided to read all instructions on the site. A soundset contains patches/sounds intended for use with a specific software synthesizer. A soundset for the Waldorf Largo does not work with the ReFX Nexus - or vice versa.
A sampleset on the other hand, contains samples, and can be used with the supported samplers.
I bought the wrong product! Can I have a refund?
No. The instructions on this site is clear enough. Don't purchase anything if you don't know what you are doing. If you are in doubt before you make a purchase - you are more than welcome to contact me and I will help you out. Click here to drop me a mail.
Will I get spam and other "great offers" after I buy something from Plughugger?
No. There is no mailing list or a database where your email is stored. You will not get bombarded by Incredible Offers (TM).
