The Little Fat Greek is the second soundset in a our new series of soundsets for Omnisphere 2, where our concept is simple to focus on one cool synthesizer, sample it to bits and recreate its characteristics in Omnisphere, and take it into new directions that would never be possible with the original hardware.

Named after the deity of darkness, the Erebus is a small greenish-looking desktop synth which is nothing else than a extraordinary fine synthesizer from Greek synthmakers Dreadbox.

The Erebus can best be described as a monphonic analog synthesizer, with a gorgeous filter and tone and a quirky character.

We sampled over 40 aspects of the Erebus and threw them into Omnisphere, where we turned them into sounds that could never be done with the original. Polyphonic. Pads. Sequences. Drums. Dark and Big stuff. Apart from 170+ single presets, we combined another 50 sounds into complex multisounds.
