Among all the vintage classics, the Prophet VS is probably one of the most underrated synthesizers in the world.

Thanks to its four oscillators, programmable envelopes and (at that time) futuristic joystick controller, the VS quickly established itself as a solid pad-machine, one capable of organic, evolving sonic landscapes.

But thanks to the brilliant adaption of Arturia, the concept of the VS has been expanded in several significant ways. First - and most importantly - the filters have been expanded from only lowpass to not only highpass, but also bandpass. Secondly, the lfos are syncable to tempo.

Combine this with four oscillators capable of a whole range of analog and digital waveforms, make the Prophet VS into an exceptionally flexible synthesizer that is very easy to use.

The goals during the design of the Supercharg3r soundset was to create a soundset entirely built on the VS engine of the Arturia Prophet V, and to create presets that sounds modern and are different from the typical VS-type of sounds. In short, to bring the Prophet VS to the modern age.

Supercharg3r is a collection of 64 bass sounds. No endlessly flowing pads. No vibrating bell-sounding leads. No cute plucks. Just 64 innocent, fire-spitting bass sounds designed to inspire you to create tracks that makes you move.

AUDIO EXAMPLES
There are no treatment on the bass sounds except a limiter with a very modest setting on the master bus.
No external effects or eq:ing have been applied to any of the sounds.

IMPORTANT - Supercharg3r is a soundset for the Arturia Prophet V software synthesizer version 2. This product requires a fully working copy of Arturia Prophet V version 2 to work. The sounds have been developed with Prophet V for OS X but have been fully tested on both PCs as well.
