Bass/bass//bass. Is it possible to get enough of bass sounds? We at Plughugger certainly doesn't think so, but then again, we are serious bass fetishists, and since you are reading this we might be in good company.

Technically speaking, the Ultra Analog synthesizer is a quite unremarkable synthesizer by todays standards. Two oscillators, two filters, two LFOs and a bunch of fixed envelopes. But based on the powerful synthesis engine from Tassman, Ultra Analog rests on a solid foundation (sound-wise), which instantly ignited our creative spark: to bring out the true analog rumblings and nastiness of the Ultra Analog VA-1.

Ultra Bass was mainly designed for electronic styles such as house techno, but since the soundset have about an equal share of classic bass sounds this soundset will work just fine with styles such as pop and hip hop as well.

The Plughugger Modus Operandi is indeed a time consuming way of working, but ensures that no rotten eggs leaves the Plughugger sound laboratories. In the case of Ultra Bass, the bank was distilled from 114 patches until only the 64 best remained.

AUDIO EXAMPLES
There are no treatment on the bass sounds except a limiter with a very modest setting on the master buss. No external effects or eq:ing have been applied to the sounds.
